Notre mission est d’être une force centriste et équilibrée à la Chambre des communes. Le Canada n’a pas besoin d’une autre formation politique déterminée à pousser le pays davantage vers un camp ou l’autre. Il a besoin d’une présence parlementaire capable d’évaluer les propositions selon leurs résultats, de travailler avec différents partis lorsque l’intérêt national l’exige et de refuser la logique voulant que tout compromis soit une capitulation.
Le centre n’est pas l’absence de convictions.

Taking action on this issue
- Strategic Balance of Power. We will focus on winning targeted ridings where Canadians are clearly dissatisfied with polarized politics, positioning the UCC to hold the balance of power in a minority Parliament and influence legislation constructively.
- Issue-by-issue Cooperation.We will support or oppose legislation based on merit, not party loyalty, working with any party when proposals align with centrist principles and rejecting policies that serve ideology over Canadians.
- Centrist Policy Leverage.When holding the balance of power, we will use it to secure practical amendments, accountability measures, and measurable outcomes, ensuring that legislation reflects moderation, fiscal responsibility, and social cohesion.
